The Lomprayah High Speed Ferry Company has three different services from Koh Samui to Koh Tao, one which departs from Maenam Pier, on the north coast of Koh Samui and another which departs from Na Thon Pier, in the island’s main town, and another which departs from Bangrak in the north of the island.
Option 1: Lomprayah service from Na Thon Pier to Koh Tao
Na Thon is the administrative capital of Koh Samui and easily to reach by shared taxi. There are three different ferry piers in Na Thon and four different ferry services which depart from Na Thon. The three ferry piers are all close together. The middle pier, which is the longest pier, is the one from which the Lomprayah Ferry departs.

Option 2: Lomprayah from Maenam Pier to Koh Tao
Maenam is on the North side of Koh Samui and closer to the main town of Na Thon than it is to Chaweng or Lamai. To get here you have two choices. Route 1: shared taxi to the turning to the Lomprayah Maenam Pier on the main ring road, and walk about 750 metres to the ferry pier. Route 2: negotiate with a taxi driver to bring you all the way there.

Arrival in Koh Tao
All services arrive at Mae Haad Pier in Koh Tao. This pier is located by the island’s largest town and it main beach, Sairee Beach. If you do need to go further afield than is comfortable by walking then are plenty of shared taxis and water taxis waiting for customers at the pier whenever boats come in.
