From Nakhon Phanom it’s a journey of over 700 km by road to Bangkok passing by several major towns along the way such as Kalasin, Nakhon Ratchasima and Saraburi as well past notable areas of natural beauty such as the hills of the Khao Yai National Park and Lumtakong Lake. The arrival point for bus services from Nakhon Phanom, Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal, is close to Chatuchak Weekend Market in the north of Central Bangkok. Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal is not connected to the BTS or MRT transit systems, and it’s a difficult and long walk to get from Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal to the closest MRT or BTS station.

A1 bus services depart from Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal every 12 minutes from 07:30 to 24:00 and the fare is 30 THB.
