Romyen Garden Place is probably the best hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima, or Korat as it is also known, and a bargain from 1,212 THB per night.
Location of Romyen Garden Place
It is located about 400 metres from a large shopping mall and a little bit further to the centre of town. The service here was efficient with enough staff to cope with the number of customers. Very quick check-in. The hotel has a small cafe and a Japanese restaurant on-site. No idea about the breakfast as I left too early in the morning.

Romyen Garden Place met all my requirements
This hotel meets my 4 most important requirements in a hotel: comfortable bed, good free internet access, good air-conditioning, and English language TV channels. The rooms have been recently decorated with IKEA style furnishings. The room had a small balcony and tea/coffee making facilities. My only criticism of the room is that there is no safety box.

Comfortable Bed
The bed was very comfortable with a thin duvet rather than a sheet, which was nice. The towel folding needs work but other than that great presentation.

Flat Screen TV
The flat screen TV was good. There are English language channels but you need to search for them. I couldn’t find any premium film channels, but the free WiFi was fast enough to stream films from YouTube.

Large Bathroom
The bathroom was good. Large enough for a separate shower area. Nice additional extras in the bathroom like disposable toothbrushes.

A hotel worth booking
Nice 3 star hotel. Great value for money. I will come here again next time I am in Korat. At the present time Nakhon Ratchasima is not blessed with an extensive range of good quality hotels and the Romyen Garden Place is a welcome addition to the local hotel scene.
