Speedboats from Koh Phi Phi to Koh Lipe offer little space to move around, and the journey can be very bumpy depending on the weather. Where to Stay on Koh Lipe
Koh Lipe is a very small island. From Walking Street, in the centre of the island, it’s less than 1 km to any of the popular beaches on Koh Lipe. Staying at a hotel inland is the cheapest accommodation option in Koh Lipe, and if you stay near Walking Street you are close to the island’s busiest bars and restaurants.
The premier place to stay in Koh Lipe is on Sunrise Beach. This is the beach with the picture perfect clear seas and backdrop of large and small neighbouring islands. If you can afford it, some of the resorts on Sunrise Beach have beach bungalows located less than 20 metres from the sea.
