Can you suggest somewhere to stay near Beer Garden on Soi 7 Sukhumvit Road where the staff will let me bring my girlfriend back to the room after she finishes work without charging me extra? My girlfriend has her own room in Bangkok and won’t check in with me.

Try the Mac Boutique Suites Hotel, it is on Soi 7 about 200 metres up from Beer Garden on the right.

Go Elsewhere For Breakfast
The room are fairly smart but I wouldn’t bother paying for the breakfast there, it is a bit basic. Instead go though the nip through the ‘passage way’ connecting Soi 7 and Soi 5 and do breakfast at Took Lae Dee in Foodland Supermarket on Soi 5. The Took Lae Dee American breakfast costs a mere 69 THB compared to Mac Boutique Suites Hotel’s offering at 250 THB per head.
