What is there for children to do in Hua Hin?

Reader’s E-mail:

I am staying with my children in Hua Hin for a few days. My children are aged 8, 11 and 15. Is there anything I can take them to do during my stay in Hua Hin?

You should take your children to Vana Nava Hua Hin Water Jungle.

Location

This is a large water park located about 3 km south of Hua Hin city centre, just off the main highway running through Hua Hin (the Phetkasem Road). It is open from 10.00 to 18.00 every day of the week.

Entrance Fees

Entrance fees are 600 THB per child (under 122 cm tall) and 1,000 THB per adult.

Attractions

The water park is split into 2 zones: the Water Jungle Zone and the Adventure Zone. The Water Jungle Zone has 17 different attractions, including Thailand’s longest and highest water slides and a man made beach with artificial waves. The Adventure Zone has rope courses, climbing wall and water surfing simulator.

Well Run

The Vana Nava Hua Hin Water Jungle is a major commercial enterprise which appears to be well run and safe. It is something your children are likely to enjoy and it will keep them occupied all day. Your biggest problem will probably be your children pestering you for a repeat visit. For this reason perhaps keep this excursion until the last day of your trip to Hua Hin as a special treat.
